Well friends, this post is better late than never. Those of you who follow me on Instagram may remember a bake-off between two label designs last month. Well time got away from me, but here’s the winner!  I used a recipe from Canning for a New Generation, but modified the spices to my preference. I also left the peels on the apples because I’d seen other recipes skip peeling and, let’s face it, not peeling them is way less work! I visited a late-season indoor farmers market this weekend to find plenty of apples still available. Whether you’ve already canned your apple butter or are looking to whip up a batch, here are some fun labels just in time for hostess gifts and holiday exchanges.

What You’ll Need

  1. Download the labels (PDF).
  2. Print on label paper.
  3. Apply labels to jars.
  4. Admire your handiwork, give them as gifts, and share on Instagram. (Don’t forget to tag me, I’d love to see these in the wild.)
